Devestated to learn that Brad McCrimmon, my neighbor, family friend and personal hero as a kid, was among those killed in the KHL crash :( It’s a terrible tragedy for those fortunate enough to know him- he was a great guy, well-respected in the league, and leaves behind a wife and two children.
I was fortunate enough to be the recipient of many gifts of memorabilia as a kid: from his rookie card to his 1,000th goal stick to his spare Whalers gloves. He was a generous guy who I looked up to and considered very highly.
